Freight Trailers:
Standard Repair Coverage and Full Value Insurance does not cover damages that are sustained while items are being transported in a freight trailer (ABF, MoveAmerica, Old Dominion, etc). But if your items are damaged while being transported in a freight trailer and you believe improper loading techniques caused or contributed towards the damage, you may file a complaint and be eligible to receive up to a full refund (capped at $1000) for damages under our Service Guarantee policy. The customer will need to provide proof that they provided adequate furniture pads and tie downs for protection of goods. In some cases, repair estimates and/or receipts are required, along with photos and proof of damage to receive the maximum reimbursement.
License Information: None Required
HIREHOMEHELP allows movers to list their moving labor services only.
A special license isn't required to lift things into a truck or storage container. Note: Many service providers have a business license or even a full-service moving license even though it is not required for labor-only moving orders. We allow them to list these credentials in their profile if they want.
Commercial Liability: Not Required
Hiring a service provider with this type of policy provides you with a level of security in the event you have to file a suit.
This type of insurance isn't required. However, if a company does carry this type of policy, you'll see it on their profile.
HIREHOMEHELP Terms & Conditions v2.05
The following terms and conditions govern all use of the www.HIREHOMEHELP.com website (the "Site") and all of the services available at the website (taken together, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by HIREHOMEHELP, LLC ("HIREHOMEHELP"). The Service is offered subject to acceptance, without modification, of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Site by HIREHOMEHELP (collectively, the "Agreement").
The Service is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, whether acting on their own behalf or as an authorized employee or representative of a corporation or other business entity. If you do not so qualify, do not attempt to register for or use the Service. HIREHOMEHELP may refuse to offer the Service to any person or entity and may change its eligibility criteria, at any time, in its sole discretion.
If you do not agree to all of THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT, do not access or use the Service. BY VIEWING OR USING ALL OR ANY PART OF THE SERVICE, DOWNLOADING ANY MATERIALS OR COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT.
1. Scope
The Site is a neutral venue where individuals ("Customers") can locate, engage and pay service providers ("Helpers"). As a neutral venue, HIREHOMEHELP cannot and will not guarantee or ensure the ability of (i) Helpers to complete (or properly complete) any services or (ii) Customers to complete payment for such services. Any and all communications, or correspondence, verbal or written, or any warranties or representations, made with regard to any Helper services are not provided by HIREHOMEHELP, but rather are made specifically and solely by the applicable Helper. HIREHOMEHELP does not prequalify or validate the claims of Helpers including with respect to their licensing, insurance and registration. In addition, HIREHOMEHELP does not pre-screen Helpers for compliance with federal, state or local laws and regulations and, therefore, HIREHOMEHELP recommends that Customers confirm such compliance directly with the applicable Helper(s) before services are rendered.
2. Other Terms
Certain services available through the Site may be subject to additional terms and conditions. For example, Helpers are subject to the Service Provider Guidelines. In addition, the Company's Help Section sets forth processes and procedures to help Customer in locating and engaging Helpers through the Site. Your breach of any of terms or conditions contemplated by this "Other Terms" section shall constitute a breach of this Agreement. To the extent such additional terms or conditions conflict with this Agreement, such terms/conditions shall control.
3. Modifications
HireHomeHelp reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any provision of this Agreement at any time. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.
4. Registration and Your Customer Record
As a condition to using the Service, you may be required to register with HIREHOMEHELP and select a password and a user ID ("User ID"). Your User ID and password, together with any other contact information you provide become your "Customer Record." Your User ID can be changed by contacting HIREHOMEHELP via customer-support@hirehomehelp.com. You shall provide HIREHOMEHELP with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. Failure to do so shall constitute a breach of this Agreement, which may result in immediate termination of your account. You must ensure that your account with HIREHOMEHELP contains (at all times) a valid email address. In addition, you shall not (i) select or use as a User ID a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person; (ii) use as a User ID a name subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization; or (iii) use as a User ID a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene. HIREHOMEHELP reserves the right to refuse registration of, or cancel a User ID in its sole discretion. You are solely responsible for activity that occurs on your account and shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your HIREHOMEHELP password. You shall never use another user's account without such other user's express permission. You shall never transfer or assign your account to any third party. You will immediately notify HIREHOMEHELP of any unauthorized use of your account, or other account-related security breach of which you are aware (such notification must be sent by you to ).
5. Restrictions
As a condition of use, you promise not to use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or any other purpose not reasonably intended by HIREHOMEHELP. You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to (a) take any action or (b) upload, post, submit or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content (including text, communications, software, images, sounds, data or other information) using any communications service or other service available on or through the Service, that: is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, tortious, obscene, profane or which otherwise violates this Agreement; infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or other right of any party; constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk e-mail ("spamming"); imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on HIREHOMEHELP's computing, storage or communications infrastructure, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service, through password mining or otherwise; contains software viruses or any other computer codes, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, limit or interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any system, data or other information of HIREHOMEHELP or any third party; or harvests or collects any information from the Site; or impersonates any person or entity, including any employee or representative of HIREHOMEHELP. HIREHOMEHELP may, at its sole discretion, immediately terminate your access to the Service should your conduct fail to conform strictly with any provision of this section.
6. Payment
All Helper services will be paid for in advance by Customer (in a form and manner designated by HIREHOMEHELP). Payments will be tendered to HIREHOMEHELP and held by HIREHOMEHELP in escrow in a separate trust account. In return, HIREHOMEHELP will provide Customer with the means to release payment either by calling the Payment Release Line or by signing the Helper's invoice upon completion of the job.
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: As a Customer, you agree that, upon completion of services by a Helper, you shall promptly call the HIREHOMEHELP "Payment Release Line" or sign the Helper's invoice showing the total amount of hours worked. Calling the Payment Release Line and releasing payment or signing the Helper's invoice shall constitute irrevocable authorization for HIREHOMEHELP to release the applicable payment to that Helper. Customer shall not be entitled to any refund with respect to any amount released. Therefore, once you have authorized HIREHOMEHELP to release payment to a Helper, you agree that all payment disputes (including but not limited to defective Helper services) your sole recourse shall be against the applicable Helper – not HIREHOMEHELP. In such circumstances, you will not attempt to block or otherwise prevent HIREHOMEHELP's payment processing activities (such as, by requesting your credit card provider to refuse or rescind payment to HIREHOMEHELP). Please also see the "Disputes with Other Users" section below.
HELPER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: As a Helper, you agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any payment from HIREHOMEHELP for your services except through use of the Payment Release Line or by having the customer sign the invoice provided to you by HIREHOMEHELP. If a Customer refuses or otherwise fails to release payment to you such failure/refusal is an issue for you to address directly with the Customer (and HIREHOMEHELP has no responsibility or liability with respect to such failure/refusal). For more information regarding payment processes and procedures, please see the Help Section.
7. Off-Site Communications
As a Helper, you shall not provide (or offer) any services you have posted on the Site outside of the Site, or otherwise in any manner that may circumvent the fees payable to HIREHOMEHELP in connection with the services you perform for a Customer who engaged or contacted you through the Site. Offers of this nature circumvent HIREHOMEHELP's fee structure and are a potential fraud risk for Customers and Helpers. Some examples of off-Site offers include:
- Entering personal contact information, such as website addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers or email addresses, in any
- part of the Site in a manner that may allow a Customer to contact you outside of the Site. Requesting that a Customer who engaged you through the Site pay for your Helper services outside of the Site (i.e. pay you via any means other than through using the Payment Release Line or signing your HIREHOMEHELP Invoice).
As a Customer, you agree that you shall not engage in any activity that induces a Helper to take any action prohibited by this Section 7 (such as by offering to pay a Helper directly instead of through HIREHOMEHELP.)
8. Feedback
You acknowledge that a key component and integrity of the Service is the ability of Customers to leave feedback about services, (whether positive, neutral or negative), found through HIREHOMEHELP or otherwise and for other Customers to read and evaluate those feedback and make voluntary choices based upon that feedback. Therefore:
- As a Customer, you agree to only provide truthful and fair feedback. You also agree to not accept any payment or other consideration in exchange for influencing your feedback (such as, accepting payment in exchange for providing positive feedback with respect to any Helper). As a Helper, you agree that you shall not (and shall not attempt to): (A) improperly influence the feedback of any Customer in any manner; (B) post, cut and paste, and/or copy the content of Customer feedback review from the Site to your personal or business website, to any third party website, and/or on any of personal, business, or third party marketing materials (regardless of the form); or (C) post or attempt to post, in any manner or by any means, a feedback review of your own services.
- As a Helper, you agree that you shall not (and shall not attempt to): (A) improperly influence the feedback of any Customer in any manner; (B) post, cut and paste, and/or copy the content of Customer feedback review from the Site to your personal or business website, to any third party website, and/or on any of personal, business, or third party marketing materials (regardless of the form); or (C) post or attempt to post, in any manner or by any means, a feedback review of your own services.
- As a Customer and a Helper, you acknowledge that you may expose yourself to liability if your feedback contains material that is false, intentionally misleading, or defamatory; violates any third-party right, including any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right; contains material that is unlawful, including illegal hate speech or pornography; exploits or otherwise harms minors; or violates or advocates the violation of any law or regulation.
By leaving your feedback, you represent and warrant that you are the author and owner of the intellectual property rights thereto, all "moral rights" that you may have in such content have been voluntarily waived by you and all content that you post is accurate.
Furthermore, you understand and acknowledge that your feedback may be used in a number of different ways, including publicly displaying it, reformatting it, incorporating it into advertisements and other works, creating derivative works from it, promoting it, distributing it, and allowing others to do the same in connection with their own websites and media platforms. As such, you hereby irrevocably grant HIREHOMEHELP world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, assignable, sublicensable, transferable rights to use your feedback for any purpose. Please note that you also irrevocably grant the users of the Site and any other media the right to access to your feedback in connection with their use of the Site and any other media. Finally, you irrevocably waive, and cause to be waived, against HIREHOMEHELP and its users any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to Feedback. By "use" we mean use, copy, publicly perform and display, reproduce, distribute, modify, translate, remove, analyze, commercialize, and prepare derivative works of Feedback.
9. Links on the Site

We are not responsible for the content, information, products, or services of any linked site, any link(s) contained in any linked site, or any changes or updates to the information contained in such sites. Providing any transportation services or assistance with any transportation using, trucks or any vehicles of any kind will be a violation of these Terms and will be grounds for deactivation. By submitting an application and/or registering an account with HIREHOMEHELP, you ("you", "your", "Helper" or "Service Provider") are advertising as an independent company whose information is listed within the HIREHOMEHELP marketplace. Please note that though the TOS is always subject to change, it will always contain the following basic principles. If a user disagrees with the following TOS, discontinue using HIREHOMEHELP's services immediately.

As a Service Provider you are not allowed to work as an employee for other Service Provider. However, shared crew members are allowed.
HIREHOMEHELP currently does not require all Service Providers to pass background checks, drug testing or credit checks, but a Service Provider must be willing to submit to these checks upon request. There are also specific "opt in" programs within HIREHOMEHELP which require all participating Service Providers to pass background checks and adhere to certain qualifications. More detailed information about these programs are in Sections Drug and Alcohol Testing & Criminal Records & Background Checks below and in the Service Provider's account.

The content published on HIREHOMEHELP by its Service Providers is strictly the responsibility of its creator. HIREHOMEHELP does not screen or support any information published by its Service Providers. However, HIREHOMEHELP does reserve the right to delete any information, links, or content that it feel violates this TOS, or takes advantage HIREHOMEHELP Users, customers, affiliates, and/or partners. HIREHOMEHELP is also not responsible for the content of third party services listed, since third party websites and services do not operate under its TOS. Service Provider are hereby agrees that HIREHOMEHELP is not responsible for any loss or damage you may receive from any information posted or promised by, and any content/communication created by any Service Providers, Users, Customers, affiliates and/or partners of HIREHOMEHELP. Service Provider also agrees that HIREHOMEHELP is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred through third party websites or services.
5. Orders
Upon selecting a Service Provider, a Customer enters the date, time and description of the Labor Services (collectively "Order") they wish to procure. An Order may go longer or shorter than the specifications listed. Once an Order has been placed, the Service Provider will receive notification of the Order via electronic mail and text messages (if the Service Provider has set up text messaging notifications) to the phone number listed in your account. A Service Provider has 24 hours to accept or reject such Order, if they do not reply within the 24 hours they will receive another email notification and a 24 hour grace period to respond to the Order. If the Service Provider has indicated they can offer same day and/or next day service they must respond to an Order within 2 hours of the requested start time or 24 hours, whichever is sooner. If you ignore and/or fail to respond to Order requests, your account may be deactivated and the Order will be re-routed to a different Service Provider in the area. More info on the Service Provider and Customer cancellation policy can be found here: https://www.HIREHOMEHELP.com/service-provider-policies/.
Upon accepting an order, the Service Providers agrees to accommodate all services requested; date of service, time of arrival, amount of helpers, amount of hours [see section 7 on overtime and refund policies], the specified labor listed in the order description from the customer. Failing to accommodate all services requested may result in certain repercussions.
6. Availability
Service Providers shall regularly update the Availability tab on their HIREHOMEHELP account. Though You may change your availability at any time after logging into your HIREHOMEHELP account, Service Provider agrees to be available for Labor Services during the time listed on the Availability page. Preferences for next or same day Order must also be listed in your account. Failure to consistently not be available for Labor Services or completion of Orders may result in the deactivation of your account.
7. Rates, Payment and Fees
Rates Each Service Provider shall enter all information pertinent to their services and rates on their Service Provider account. This shall include all information regarding any distinction on services provided and all costs associated with such service. Service Providers will have an option to enter their flat rates, travel fees, area coverage, refund, additional hour rates, rates for same day & next day orders, working over pre-booked times, equipment fees etc. under their Service Provider accounts. Although not all of the service options are mandatory, Service Providers must list their rates for services in order to be listed on the site.
To determine travel fees by miles, HIREHOMEHELP uses Google Maps to determine the actual driving mileage between two locations (from the Service Providers business address to the center of the Customers zip code). In the rare case that we cannot determine the driving mileage we calculate the distance simply as the shortest distance between two points on the map. When the job is a local move (when the customers locations are within 50 miles of each other) no additional travel fees will be added as the service provider is charging for the time it takes to drive to the customers' second location.
Two (2) hours of services will be the minimum for which each Service Provider can contract for services. Service Providers will have an opportunity to list a flat rate for each two (2), three (3) or four (4) hour of services for a minimum of $15 per person, per hour.
For any hours over the pre-booked time, a default option that you do not provide such services will be automatically selected for you. But should a Service Provider elect that they do provide time beyond the pre-booked hours and/or provide services beyond what was originally booked by Customer, they are agreeing to that availability on every order in circumstances where more time is needed. Additional hours will be calculated at thirty (30) minute increments at the hourly rate that the order was booked under.
Options for refund policy will also be listed in each Service Provider account. It is the the duty of each Service Provider to make clear what their refund policy is in their account. Should a Service Provider elect that they do offer refunds for unused time, they are agreeing refund customers on every order where a customer requests a refund for the unused time.
To determine fees for "flights of stairs", please note that HIREHOMEHELP defines a "flight of stairs"as four or more steps between floors. Stairs are still considered "one flight" if the steps are interrupted by a landing and continue to lead you to the next floor of the building. Representatives keep this definition in mind at the time of booking when gathering details from customer.
8. CANCELLATION FEES
The following policies apply to fees associated with a cancellation:
Cancellation fees may not exceed an hour (1) of flat rate originally booked on a order if it is cancelled less than twenty four (24) hours before scheduled start time. Cancellation fees may not exceed two (2) hours of flat rate originally booked on a order if it is cancelled less than one (1) hour before scheduled start time. Example: If the arrival window is scheduled for 1-2 p.m., the customer has until 2 p.m. the day before the move to cancel the order before a fee applies. Should a Service Provider fail to accept an order or a Customer cancels an order due to an inability to contact the Service Provider, or if a Service Provider fails to show up during designated start time, or if the order is cancelled more than twenty four (24) hours before scheduled start time, a cancellation fee will not apply. If applied, HIREHOMEHELP will retain ten (10) percent of the total cancellation fee as its fee. If there is a dispute regarding cancellation fees owed, the Service Provider must be able to show proof via emails and/or phone records that they were in contact with the Customer and had confirmed the Order both when it was booked and between twenty-four (24) and forty-eight (48) hours before the start time. In the circumstance where a Service Provider does show up during designated start time but with less crew members than promised, the Helper has to charge the same amount per crew member as opposed to their normal rates for that size crew.
Payments: HIREHOMEHELP processes payments from Customers to Service Providers by ACH deposit or paper check. By using the service every Service Provider agrees that the bank account or mailing address listed in their account is the correct one to send payment to. HIREHOMEHELP is not responsible for payments that are lost due to incorrect payment information. Once an Order has been completed, Customers can authorize HIREHOMEHELP to transfer payment to their Service Provider by either calling or texting the Payment Release Line at the end of each Order, or by signing off on their Service Provider's paperwork showing hours completed. If a Service Provider is unable to collect payment from their Customer their sole remedy is against that Customer.
HIREHOMEHELP provides the 1099-K form to Service Providers showing the dollar amount the Service Provider processed through the site each calendar year. You agree and consent to receive the 1099-K form electronically.
Fees: HIREHOMEHELP's fees will vary depending on the order type and coverage level provided by HIREHOMEHELP to the Service Provider on the order in question: On Self Coverage orders the fee will be $50 and then ten (10) percent of any amounts over $500 On Plus Coverage Direct Book orders the fee will be $50 and then ten (10) percent of any amounts over $500 On Plus Coverage Standard orders the fee will be $100 and then ten (10) percent of any amounts over $500 On Premium Coverage Elite orders the fee will be $100 and then ten (10) percent of any amounts over $500 Every Service Provider authorizes HIREHOMEHELP to withhold this commission once a Customer confirms an Order was successfully completed and transfers them their payment

This privacy statement ("Privacy Policy") covers the website www.HIREHOMEHELP.com, owned and operated by HIREHOMEHELP, LLC. ("HIREHOMEHELP", "HIREHOMEHELP.COM", "we", "us", "our"). HIREHOMEHELP knows that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy. By visiting the HIREHOMEHELP.com website, submitting information or using any of our services, you are accepting the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.
WHAT DOES THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVER?
This Privacy Policy covers HIREHOMEHELP's treatment of personal information that HIREHOMEHELP gathers when you are on the hirehomehelp.com website and when you use HIREHOMEHELP's services. Also, this Privacy Policy covers HIREHOMEHELP's treatment of any personal information that HIREHOMEHELP's business partners, and/or affiliates, and/or helpers share with HIREHOMEHELP. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT USERS DOES Hirehomehelp COLLECT?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to personalize and improve our service. We collect the following types of information from our users:
A) INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US:
We may receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. For example, in order for you to use our website, you may be required to complete a registration form. (As part of this registration form, we require your email address and contact information).
Service providers (i.e. "Helpers") using our site may elect to use certain direct deposit payment features, in which case they will be required to provide us with bank account information (such as a routing number). End users who elect to hire Helpers will be required to provide payment related information (such as a credit card number).
You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features. The personal information you provide may be used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about promotions.
B) AUTOMATIC INFORMATION:
We may receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. Hirehomehelp may automatically receive and record certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Hirehomehelp cookie information, and the page you requested. Hirehomehelp uses this traffic data to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends and administer the website.
Generally, our service may automatically collect usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our website and its components. This data is only used in the aggregate, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of collective data enables us to figure out how often users use parts of the website, so we can make the website appealing to as many users as possible.
Many companies offer programs that help you to visit websites anonymously. While Hirehomehelp will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these programs are available.
C) E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS:
We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Hirehomehelp if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We may also send out emails with news or promotions. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please notify us by e-mail at unsubscribe@hirehomehelp.com and include sufficient information for us to identify your account.
WHAT ABOUT COOKIES?
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we may transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our website are visited and by how many people. Hirehomehelp cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your email address is.
The "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. We strongly recommend that you leave the cookies activated, however, because cookies enable you to take advantage of some of HIREHOMEHELP's most attractive features.
Some of our business partners (for example, web analytics services) may use cookies on our website. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
How Hirehomehelp Protects You
Protecting Your Personal Information
- We never share your billing information with anyone. Period.
- We never share your contact information with any other businesses or organizations other than the service providers you book using Hirehomehelp. We don't sell our customer lists or email addresses to marketers or data services. Ever.
- The checkout process is completely secure using industry standard SSL encryption.
Protecting You From Fraud
- Your credit card information is never stored on our own servers or even in our own database. It is kept only by our payment processor in accordance with US commerce laws.
- Internally, our system is constantly being monitored for suspected fraud. We use many different methods for detecting both potential fraud and actions that even hint at such activity (kind of like your own bank probably does).
Providing You With Reputable service providers
- Customer reviews.* The best way to get to know your potential moving company is to read reviews from their previous customers.
- Additionally, we have a strict ongoing filtering process and Service Provider Account Policy for all of our service providers. Un-reliable or disreputable service providers get booted from the Hirehomehelp marketplace, no exceptions.
- Your service provider does not receive any payment until the job is complete. Only you are able to authorize a payment release when the job is done. In this way, Hirehomehelp.com acts as a payment escrow. If something goes wrong, your service providers don't show, or the job is unsatisfactory, we make sure the service provider isn't paid until we help make it right.
* Review Your Service Provider!
Hirehomehelp.com is a labor marketplace. Service providers live and die by your reviews. This system works really well! It helps the market weed out the bad ones, and shine a light on the great ones. So, help your service providers… help other customers… leave a review!
